上帝希望人們理解祂，對祂的強大提出異議;祂正是為此給了我們自由意志。

財產達到一定程度，追求奢侈就必不可少的；正如讚美的話達到一定程度，理想才有實際價值，是嗎?然而推論下去，甚麼東西才稱得上神奇呢?就是我們無法理解的東西。甚麼才是我們真正渴望的呢?就是我們得不到的東西。可是，看到我不能理解的東西，得到無法獲得的東西，這就是我一生的追求。我用兩種方法達到: 金錢和意志力。
